Products
We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting conditions.
Please check that a product is suitable for your bicycle and intended use before ordering. Product compatibility information is provided on the relevant product page.
Orders
After you place an order, we will send you an email confirming that we have received it.
We may cancel or decline an order if:
- the product is unavailable;
- the payment cannot be authorised;
- the delivery address is outside the United Kingdom;
- there is an obvious error in the product description or price; or
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will provide a full refund.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
Payment is taken securely through the payment methods offered at checkout. Brash does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code.
UK delivery
Orders placed through brash.bike can only be delivered to addresses in the United Kingdom.
Delivery costs a flat fee of £2 per order.
We will send your order to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please check this address carefully before placing your order.
Any delivery dates or times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but please contact us if your order has not arrived within the expected period.
For international orders, please use the Brash Etsy shop. Etsy purchases are subject to the terms and policies shown on Etsy.
Cancelling an order
You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched by contacting us at graham@brash.bike. If the order has not been dispatched, we will refund the amount paid.
If the order has already been dispatched, the returns provisions below will apply.
Change-of-mind returns
You normally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.
To cancel, email graham@brash.bike within that 14-day period and clearly state that you wish to cancel the order. You must then return the product within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel.
Unless the product is faulty or incorrect, you are responsible for:
- arranging its return;
- the cost of return postage; and
- ensuring that it is adequately packaged during return.
Please obtain proof of postage. We cannot take responsibility for returned goods until they reach us.
You may open the packaging and inspect the product, but please do not fit, install or use it if you may wish to return it.
Products should be returned complete and, where reasonably possible, with their original packaging, instructions and other included items. We may reduce the refund where the product’s value has been diminished because it has been fitted, used, damaged or handled more than was reasonably necessary to inspect it.
Where fitting or use has made the product unsaleable, this reduction may be substantial and could, where justified, equal the full product value.
We will refund the product price and the original delivery charge. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or you have supplied evidence that it has been sent.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
Please contact us promptly if a product:
- arrives damaged;
- is faulty;
- is not as described; or
- is not the product you ordered.
Email graham@brash.bike with your order number, a description of the problem and, where helpful, photographs.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we will arrange an appropriate repair, replacement or refund. Brash will cover reasonable return costs where a product is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.
Opening the packaging, fitting the product or using it does not remove your statutory rights where the product itself is faulty or misdescribed.
Product installation and use
You are responsible for following the fitting instructions and checking that the product has been fitted correctly before using your bicycle.
Stop using the product if it becomes damaged, loose or appears unsafe.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Personal information
We use personal information to process orders, take payment, deliver products, provide customer support and meet our legal obligations.
Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event significantly affects your order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The terms applying to an order will be those published on the website when the order was placed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
